A rush project for a local beauty shop. We explored a few options, and found that a purely typographic logo would work best for the range of mediums and uses it would be needed for.

Late Cards

This was a rushed project because Christmas is in a week or so and these cards weren’t made. I decided to try the new Wacom tablet out from work by drawing some letters that turned into “Merry Christmas”.  Actually, it basically turned into Didot italic.

And this concludes my day of solid Adobe Suite madness from 6:30 am until, now, 2:30am 20 hours later.

A site built for 5th graders (10-11 years) that attempts to teach about citizen rights, responsibilities & the importance of law. While it is a little content heavy for a 5th grader and the constitution “outcomes” aren’t finished yet all the functionality is there to teach a kid about the weight different decisions have on the country.

The assignment was to take an established brand and redesign their store (interior &/or exterior). I chose Cold Stone Creamery. The method of execution was basically up to us, and I chose to use Blender

Create a kiosk style booth for Cold Stone allowing them to expand the franchise cheaply to otherwise untapped markets.

Expand an existing and well established brand’s position by creating a new environmental design for their company.

Maintain the already perceived high product value in a compact and cheaply deployed kiosk.

Concept

Create an environment that is plays off of Cold Stone’s unique method for preparing ice cream, and also reinforces their commitment to rich fresh flavor.

This was my first assignment for Typography 2. It’s a mock brochure about energy usage in America as put out by the US department of energy. Fonts used were Helvetica for titling, and Warnock for body copy.
